Fox News' Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade seemed perturbed Wednesday morning after they learned that some MSNBC hosts and "influential progressives" were invited to meet with the president at the White House on Tuesday.

President Obama met with Rachel Maddow, Al Sharpton, Lawrence O'Donnell, and Ed Schultz. Huffington Post Media Group's Arianna Huffington was also in attendance. White House deputy press secretary Josh Earnest released a statement saying that "the President met with influential progressives to talk about the importance of preventing a tax increase on middle class families, strengthening our economy and adopting a balanced approach to deficit reduction."
